Florida Military and Disabled Veteran Event License Exemption
An organizer may apply 10 to 365 days before a qualifying recreation event for a permit exempting eligible participants from specified Florida hunting and fishing licenses during that event. Participants may include resident or nonresident disabled Veterans, active or Reserve members, immediate family and one designated assistant for each disabled Veteran. The permit does not exempt participants outside the event or waive excluded permits such as federal duck stamps, tarpon tags, alligator and limited-entry permits.
An agency must make the actual eligibility decision.
The program is source-verified, but its eligibility rules are not automated in this record.
