Georgia Veterans homelessness coordination
The Georgia Department of Veterans Service coordinates with government and community partners to connect Veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability with appropriate support. Referrals may address housing, health care, employment, and mental-health needs. This is an assistance and referral resource, not a guaranteed housing placement, rental payment, or cash grant. Contact GDVS at 404-656-2307 to discuss available help and any provider-specific requirements. Georgia DCA directs Veterans experiencing homelessness to their VA office for a HUD-VASH referral; that separate federal program has its own eligibility and referral process.
An agency must make the actual eligibility decision.
The program is source-verified, but its eligibility rules are not automated in this record.
