University of North Georgia Military Scholarship Loan

This competitive, service-obligated scholarship loan supports selected students attending the University of North Georgia full time as freshmen for the program's four-year course of study, subject to available funds. Applicants must meet the 12-month Georgia-residency rule, admission, academic-excellence and commissioning standards, and general student-aid conditions. Recipients enlist in the Georgia National Guard, participate in the Corps of Cadets, complete commissioning requirements, and undertake the required four-year post-degree officer service. Failure to satisfy the agreement can require cash repayment with interest within five years; other military commitments may remain.
