University System of Georgia military-service tuition and fee refunds
Under University System of Georgia policy, qualifying students whose military activation, reassignment, temporary duty, or mandatory training prevents completion of an enrolled and paid academic term may receive a full refund of tuition and mandatory fees and a prorated refund of elective fees, subject to institutional policy. Covered circumstances include specified National Guard, Reserve, and active-duty orders. The policy also allows case-by-case equitable refunds for people detrimentally affected by a military activation or deployment. Ask the institution to review the orders, timing, withdrawal circumstances, and documentation; neither a Veteran designation alone nor any deployment automatically establishes a refund.
An agency must make the actual eligibility decision.
The program is source-verified, but its eligibility rules are not automated in this record.
