Maryland State Employment Veteran’s Credit

Maryland state selection tests provide ten preference points for an eligible Veteran, the spouse of an eligible Veteran with a service-connected disability, or the surviving spouse of a deceased eligible Veteran. A former POW receives two additional points. Qualification and selection-test rules still apply; this preference does not guarantee hiring.
