Mississippi Resident Service Member Driver’s License Renewal when Stationed out of State
Service members stationed outside Mississippi, and accompanying spouses and dependents with Mississippi driver licenses, may renew by mail within six months of expiration. DPS requires a license copy, military orders, the appropriate certified payment and a self-addressed stamped envelope. Use the current military-renewal instructions rather than assuming online renewal is available.
An agency must make the actual eligibility decision.
