New York National Guard State Sponsored Life Insurance (SSLI)

New York participates in the association-sponsored SSLI group life-insurance program for National Guard members, with optional spouse and child coverage. Coverage can be continued after leaving service under the applicable policy. This is insurance offered through the association and private insurers, not a state-paid benefit for every Veteran. Ask the SSLI administrator about New York-specific policies, premiums and enrollment requirements.
