Puerto Rico Education Benefit for Surviving Spouses and Children of Service Members Killed on Active Duty

Eligible children, surviving spouses, and dependents of service members killed in action, or who died while in federal active service from a service-related cause, may receive full relief for tuition, fees, books, and necessary degree materials at UPR and other covered public postsecondary institutions. Service, relationship, death, and identity documents are required. This is not a universal benefit for every military survivor.
