Utah Veteran Employment Opportunity Program (VEOP)

Utah VEOP lets managers consider qualified Veterans outside the usual competitive process for designated career-service jobs. Eligible service pathways include more than 180 consecutive active-duty days, former Reserve or National Guard membership, disability or a Purple Heart, with honorable or general separation or retirement. Opt into VEOP and attach DD214 to the job application. Selection is discretionary; employment begins with a six-month trial and then the position’s normal probation, typically 12 months.
